Career Services at TLA Annual Conference

Thursday, 4/23, 3:10-4:00: a "Get Hired!" panel featuring librarians from public, academic, special, and school libraries who are responsible for hiring at their library. They will discuss how the hiring process works and what applicants should expect throughout the process. The panel will also answer questions from the audience.  Questions may be submitted ahead of time to to be asked anonymously. 

Career Services will be available in Promenade 1 during each session time frame.  These services include feedback and advice on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, applying, job searching, etc.  Whether you want to overhaul your resume, apply for a job, or ask a question or two about networking to advance your career, come on by!  You can schedule an appointment by contacting Sharon Holderman ( or drop in during any session.
