Consider Alternate Route into Memphis for Conference

Posted By Jeanine Akers, Monday, April 20, 2015

Be wary of the I40-240 Interchange.  It is undergoing a three-year improvement project.  Lane closures are prevalent and time consuming.

An alternative route you may consider:

Exit I-40 at Exit 25 (TN-385) going toward Collierville. Take the Ridgeway Road exit and merge onto Ridgeway Road.

From Ridgeway Road – turn right onto Old Ridgeway Road

Turn left onto Quince Road

Turn right onto Ridgeway Road

Turn left onto Poplar Avenue

Take the Ridgeway Center Pkwy exit

Turn right onto Ridgeway Loop Road

Turn left onto Ridgeway Center Pkwy

Continue onto Ridge Lake Boulevard and Hilton Memphis will be on the left

All of these turns occur within about 3.5 miles.

Career Services will be available in Promenade 1 during each session time frame.  These services include feedback and advice on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, applying, job searching, etc.  Whether you want to overhaul your resume, apply for a job, or ask a question or two about networking to advance your career, come on by!  You can schedule an appointment by contacting Sharon Holderman (sholderman@tntech.edu) or drop in during any session.

We thank you for your support of advocacy for libraries and Tennessee.  We are considering the possibility of a more limited event in April before the current legislative session ends and information on this will be forthcoming.
