This is the first set of library histories that were sent in by libraries of all kinds around the state of Tennessee.We hope you enjoy reading about the rich tales of scholarship, service, and growth, both past and present. Additionally,the old pictures presented with some of these articles are fascinating.
We received an abundance of submissions on this topic, and you will be able to continue reading about our varied Tennesssee libraries for quite some time. This issue and the next will be entirely devoted to library histories, and we can look forward to additional histories in future issues along with our regular slate of articles.
