Eureka  Handout
SU Venture Catalyst, the startup unit of Arizona State University, along with the Scottsdale Public Library system, have started a new initiative for helping inventors, problem-solvers, social enterprises, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. The new Alexandria Network is designed to provide support for the innovation economy within designated public libraries.  The Eureka Loft opened in mid-May in the Scottsdale Public Library and offers co-working spaces, mentorship, advice, and access to some "pracademic" classes both online and in the library.  Speakers Jim Cook from ASU and Michael Beck from the Scottsdale Public Library will share information on the program start up and community feedback.
