Dean of the Library and Learning Assistance

Tennessee Tech University seeks an energetic, progressive leader capable not only of managing the Volpe Library and its 28 staff members but also of leading a new partnership involving the library, learning assistance programs, and the academic support functions of information technology. The successful candidate will be capable of developing and implementing a new Learning Commons in the library. He or she will exhibit strong management, communication, and collaborative skills. TTU is a public, comprehensive university comprising 11,000 students in undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs. It has been ranked as one of the top public schools in the south by US News & World Report. Its neo-Georgian campus, the centerpiece of a small town, is located in the scenic Upper Cumberland region close to three major cities and several recreational areas.
