The following scholarships are available from the Tennessee Library Association.
- Dr. Edwin S. Gleaves Scholarship
The Edwin S. Gleaves Scholarship, established in 2004, offers $1,500 annually to assist library and/or information science students with educational expenses such as tuition, books, or technology.
- TNLA Conference Internship Program
Each year, the Tennessee Library Association selects interns to assist with its annual conference. Being a TNLA conference intern provides a wonderful opportunity to network with colleagues, develop professional contacts and experience the TNLA
annual conference. Conference interns complete four hours of work at the conference as assigned by the TNLA Scholarship Committee in exchange for waived registration fees for the TNLA annual conference, a free ticket to the All-Conference
Reception, and a $100 stipend to be used as desired to defray costs of attending the conference and formal recognition at the conference.
- Tennsco PLS Scholarship
This scholarship provides a public library director or branch manager with $750 to attend the TNLA Annual Conference, including conference meals, conference reception and the cost of the hotel.
